Please remember that you are staying in a cabin/cottage in a rural area and not a hotel and that all amenities are a drive away. MUNICIPAL BY-LAW RESTRICTIONS: 1. Maximum of 4 ADULTS + 4 CHILDREN, 2. Below is a summary of some of our key cottage details: - guest will need to supply bed sheets, kitchen or bath towels. Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided - Check in is after 4pm - Check out time is 10:00 am. - Dogs are welcome for a fee and must be registered with host – $50/dog/stay up to a maximum of two - No Cats due to allergies - Please respect our neighbors and our cottage community by being courteous, friendly and conscious of how loud sounds and music can travel in the wilderness. - Spring, Winter and Fall guests agree to use wood burning fireplace as primary heat source. - Please report ASAP any service items as service times in rural areas are longer than in the city; especially if related to heat, water or electrical - Campfire wood must be purchased from a local merchant to help prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash borer. - Watercraft is for guest use but please educate yourselves on requirements & laws for human-powered vessels. Use caution when carrying kayaks into the water. We are not responsible for your safety. LIFE JACKETS ARE MANDATORY. Liability: The Owner shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage caused, including negligent acts or omissions on the part of the Owner, which may be sustained by the Renter or any other person on or about the Property. This includes the use of any recreational equipment that may be on or about the Property, whether it was included in the rental or not. The Renter, who shall hold the Owner harmless and indemnified there from, assumes all risks of any such injury, loss or damage. The Renter or any person on or about the Property shall not allow any insurance carrier to subrogate a claim against the Owner, his servants, or his representatives. The Owner and the company shall not be held liable for any damages or inconveniences before or during the rental due to acts of God (including but not limited to tornadoes, power outages flooding) or any other causes beyond their control. In the case of the above, the Owner and the Company shall have the right to terminate or postpone this Agreement and there will be no refunds of Rent already received by the Owner.
